How I came into existence.

It’s very nice to see couples have kids after marriage, but in my part of the world it has become a tradition for families, friends and everyone around to expect the married couples to start raising kids immediately after marriage or at most one year after marriage.

Well, my personal opinion ” I feel third parties shouldn’t interfere on issues like this.
The pressure can be quite depressing. (what do you think?)
Someone is wondering what my story is all about.

Yayy!!! Now to my story…
There was a little delay in my conception, my mum had to wait some years before having me.

Sure people would have said all sorts of things, (like I can imagine).
Well, I’m finally here, all they said then is now history you know.
……………………………………………………………….
After going through several tests and visit to hospitals, mum got pregnant.
Wow, the joy was unbounded.

During the pregnancy like most pregnant women, she had series of scan which showed the sex, day and month of my delivery. The month given was October, the date ermm ermm….can’t figure out the date.Days became weeks, weeks became months and I was getting closer to be birthed. A month before the specific day of coming to the world I was delivered at around 9:30am on Thursday 30th of September.

Exactly was on your mind, I didn’t wait for October, (I know right just a day left). Well since queens are born in September you know so I decided to switch (Special geng).

My delivery was another topic of discussion for the doctors, which led to an argument. (Guess you thinking what the argument was all about).
Well the argument became a debate instead.

One of the doctors said “this baby is perfectly okay” the other said “she is too small and needed to be put in an incubator”. So I was kept in an incubator for some minutes before I started crying, I guess I wasn’t feeling comfortable and I was so hungry I needed to eat please (that’s how stars do). The sound of my voice called out the attention of the doctors, they had to take me out of the incubator. Oh my optimistic doctor then said ” I told you this baby is perfectly okay “…just what I wanted to hear (gosh).
What really mattered was that a beautiful baby girl was born named MOFEHINTOLUWA ( I rest on God ) trust me you can never fall.

GROWING UP.

Story of the left handed.

I was born left handed which I feel is something special and unique. The fact that few people make use of left hand makes it so unique.
Back to my side of the world, most people see it as a taboo to make use of left hand for anything. Well, I was a little child so I didn’t care.

Whenever I’m being sent on errands I would always use my left hand to collect whatever I was sent, sometimes I was hit on my hand (hmmm) this drove the idea to my head ” it is really bad to make use of my left hand “.

In School……
I was the only one using left hand in my class ( I told you we are special), I always feel different around my classmates.

My class teacher was also one of those who hated left handed people, she was always hitting my hand in class. So she decided to change me from using left, then she told my mum I was slow in writing “REALLY” and it is my left hand that was affecting me. (I can imagine how a mother will feel to hear bad comment on the performance of her child), so she gave in and asked my teacher to do whatever will make me write fast.

She succeed in changing me from writing with left to right. I wasn’t really comfortable writing with my right hand but I just had to adapt, it wasn’t easy. I felt like an incomplete child but life goes on…
Sometimes I try using my left hand to write but seems difficult and slow, but I still use my left hand to do every other thing apart from writing.

Summary.

We are all created in our own special way

God is the potter and we are the clay.
Psalm 139: 13-14 says ” For you formed my inward parts; you covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are your works, and that my soul knows very well.”
Everyone stands for their own uniqueness, you can’t be anyone else except yourself.

How about my journey as the only child, hmm
You get to read that in the next episode.

Thank you and God bless for reading.
